A heartbreakingly beautiful thing is falling in love... it's about a man who can't really move, paralyzed by the past... how he fell in love with a woman, and that love became a fire in that it destroyed the meaning of all that pales in comparison to love, that one has no other course, nor direction, but to soar upwards after it... all that is left is that ideal, that perfect love, that bird flying ever higher out of reach, that shooting star... perhaps was never real to begin with, but blossoms as an unattainable ideological splinter in the mind's eye....
It reminds me of an old native american poem... "To catch a bird, become the sky."
it gives me some solace to the memory, but none for the trodden down wet tear stained grass of my heart.
