When the song wraps around you like a shroud, woven in the hair of the angels. Sun sharpened eyes, a tapestry of golden light lifts you up and into loving arms. I will bend my head to your glory, tears the pen to write my story. I tilt my head to hear your words through me a boat the racing channel keeps death at bay. Open me a blossoming lotus to your space and time, and let go of seeking that which can never be mine.

Cleaning addiction is all around
A careful distraction from the inner sound
That transcribes our hopes and all our fears
Flowers who blossom like living mirrors
But I know life's short we all face death
It can leave you shattered on a shelf
Abandoned by everyone feeling so torn
Chasing shadows as if you've yet to be born
But when you are silent
And when you are still
Only then can you start living
In the eternity of the thrill
That all life is sacred and singing a song
And you were a part of it all along
