Just a dumb poem I wrote this morning:
Sometimes it seems
that the people around me
think enlightenment can be bought with words.
They just go on talking
about being silent
afraid the answers will not be heard.

Positivity is simply the condensation that we draw pretty pictures on so we forget that we cannot see out the windows...

Most people run when things become uncomfortable, it's not that they don't care, they just haven't done the work themselves, they have not traveled the path of darkness to light, so any amount of darkness scares them into hiding... but you who face the darkness, who question its reflections and illusions become stronger in the effort, to you the world becomes larger by the struggle, while theirs grows smaller, constricted by the things they cannot accept. And for your suffering, you gain insight, clarity, and the ability to be there for those who come after... a bridge for the spirits to cross over. A blessing, a sunrise at the end of the dark night.

When times get rough with no end in sight,
find thanks for what you have and know,
in every darkness there is some light.

Beauty is not defined by how much you show, in fact beauty cannot be defined at all.

We have made a mockery of this gift, our world. Created attachments, ideologies, something to lose, something to defend, something to offend... it is not how it was meant to be. We were meant for something far greater, something few currently comprehend.... there are many doorways, and love shines the light upon it in the darkness, so that stable minds can unlock the pathway to a unity, a nothingness, a perfect emptiness, but unity is not without plurality, nothingness is not wihout wholeness, and emptiness is not without fullness... we become what we've always been, but awake. My heart's hope is that along this beautiful pathway amongst the stars, I will meet you there, bringing close what once felt so far.

The entertainment industry has really stepped it up this year, but the more easily distracted by fantasy we become, the more we aren't thinking of those who suffer in the world. We must do what we can for them, the media plays a nefarious game of distractions through the senses, manipulation of the passions, and temptations of desires... we are all walking drunk on a highwire... I'm not being hard on myself, I'm leaving breadcrumbs from Hell back to you.

We may never see eye to eye, but perhaps we can see heart to heart.

We live like brothers or die like fools.
